After assembly I really put this chipper / shredder through its paces. The chipper devoured 4 inch diameter hardwood limbs with surprising ease.
The shredder is also very effective but it does tend to yield larger fragments when you run twigs through… a few times I shoveled them back up and dropped them through the shredder a second time. Overall a ruggedly built and effective machine.
