Stump Cutters

The MacKissic Merry Commercial Stump Cutter makes stump grinding easy. When working from the cutter head end of the machine, the operator can see the stump and cutter head at all times. The ability to see the work in progress makes for faster and safer stump removal. A quick and easy flip of the handle to the engine end allows the operator to remove stumps in confined areas. Our angled cutter head orientation and carbide cutter teeth provide smooth stump removal that is unrivaled. When the operator presence lever is released the braking system stops the cutter head in less than three seconds.

The machine has a kickstand that will protect the cutter head during storage and doubles as a guard while in use. The engine is protected by the front bumper which also provides a strong lifting handle and tie down for transportation.

The Stump Cutter features a patented cutter head. The cutter head is set thirty degrees off vertical to allow for smooth cutting of the stump rather than grinding the stump. The three different teeth, straight, 25 degrees, and 45 degrees, provide the smoothest cut available. There is easy access to the cutter head for quick sharpening or replacement of teeth. The handle bars are adjustable to allow for differences in operators heights and size of the stump.
