The Merry Tiller® Mid-Tine® International Tiller is the best. There is no soil the International cannot handle. With more torque than the Suburban, the International powers through the soil quickly and efficiently, creating deep loamy earth, great for your gardening needs. Whether it is expanding an existing garden, creating a new garden, or tilling a mature garden, the International is the perfect tiller.
The International features a triple gear reduction transmission creating foot-pounds of torque. The double V-belt drive systems provide a better power transfer to the tines.
The International is rental and commercial tough. This tiller will last for years without the costly maintenance that others require. The heat-treated sprockets and heavy-duty roller chains of the transmission ensure the longevity of the machine.

I have rented one many times in the past from Taylor Rentals and always found it to be a very reliable machine. Increased gardening made it clear that I could buy one and own it in a couple of years for the rent I was paying. This is just the best tiller that I have ever owned and I'm a 50+ year gardener.Read Less

I was looking for something that would last more than two years. What you find at the box stores are pure-t-junk. I was a little hesitant buying this tiller because it isnt cheap and I had trouble finding info and reviews. But I made the leap based on the info and pictures that I did find. The tines are super strong steel and wont bend on the first rock you hit. It has a Briggs engine (you can get a Honda) on a steel angle iron frame. This thing is built to last. Assemble instructions are to be desired but if your mechanically inclined you can figure it out. Ive been very pleased to this point and Im looking forward to expanding my garden next year.Read Less
